2014 Reunion Survey
Twenty one classmates responded to our survey: Would you like a reunion every 5 years? Would you like it outside NJ in Oct. to find better weather? Would you like Florida? FL is identified as majority of classmates live on east coast. The Don Cesar resort was shown as an example of a FL location. Of the 21 responses, 20 of 21 favored a reunion in 5 years. Of the responses 17 of 21 were okay on a location outside NJ. Of the answers, 17 of 21 were okay with FL. The 4 responses not in favor of going outside NJ mainly wrote that GR brings back fond memories and they enjoyed going to the homecoming parade, the football game and seeing the town. I think we should expand the survey by doing it again and hopefully getting more responses, since when classmates see the results of this survey they may want to get in their two cents.
Winners of 2010 Scholarships
Ginny James presented Brittany Kitchen and Sam Meisel each a $2,000 scholarship from the Class of 1959. Brittany will attend the University of California at Berkeley and Sam will attend Boston University.

Potential Site for 2014 Reunion
One idea is to have the reunion at a site other than New Jersey. A good weather place like Florida comes to mind. One really nice place is the Don Cesar Beach Resort in St. Petersburg Beach , Florida. The St. Petersburg Airport and the Tampa Airport are nearby. Pictures are below. Contact us on what do you think of this idea (see contact information on this page). It is all very preliminary at this point. The rates per night in October, for example, are $169 for two adults in a room.
